La diócesis ha logrado mucho a través de los años y sigue en su fiel apoyo al trabajo de la ACA a lo largo de su alcance.  Tal como un muy querido miembro de la familia anglicana, esta página es un álbum fotográfico, para que los demás familiares puedan ver cómo es América Central. 

Uno de los primeros proyectos fue la construcción de un edificio para la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo en la Ciudad de Guatemala.  Ésta es la parroquia fundadora de la Iglesia Católica Anglicana de Centro América.  El Obispo Ordinario Rubén Rodríguez vive en esta ciudad.  Se ve el altar en esta foto quitada en la época del Octavo Sínodo Diocesano en 1996.  El letrero sobre el altar da bienvenidos a los delegados. 
 

El hombre cabezero de la diócesis es el Obispo Rubén Rodríguez.  En esta foto, él está dirigiendo una clase de confirmación.  Hasta recién, el obispo ha trabajado con un sólo clero asistente en el ministerio de la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo tal como a varias misiones en las montañas cercano a Guatemala.  Hay clero nuevo en entrenamineto, y se levanta una nueva iglesia para la Prroquia de San José en Sacoj Mixco.  
Como siempre, el levantar de un nuevo edificio anda a intervalos, según fondos disponibles.  Así fue el caso con la Parroquia del Espíritu Santo, pero el resultado fue una maravilla para ver.  La foto muestra la nueva iglesia cunado el Obsipo Rodríguez hizo su visita episcopal en diciembre 1996.  Las áreas oscuras son sombras de árboles cercanos. 

Los éxitos logrados en Guatemala son maravillosos.  La vida en Guatemala es difícil y aveces amenazante.  El gobierno se inclina a hostilidad hacia religiones no Católico Romano.  Aún la Iglesia Católica Romana por sí mismo ha estado fuerte en perseguir nuestra Diócesis por nuestra reclamación de ser Católico.  Cuando la delegación guatemalteca esperaba en al aeropuerto antes viajar para el Sínodo General en Orlando, estuvieron varias personas señalando y gritando al Obispo Rodríguez y sus compañeros, "¡Ustedes no son Católicos verdaderos!"  Gracias a Dios, sin embargo, que este desagrado no es universal.  En contrasto, relaciones entre los Católicos Romans y los Anglicanos en Puerto Rico son muy cordiales. 

En la foto a la derecha, se ve la congregación de San José con su sacerdote y el Obispo Rodríguez.  Hubieron varias confirmaciones, y la nueva clase está en frente.

One of the first projects was the construction of a building for the Parish of the Holy Spirit in Guatemala City.  This parish is the founding parish of the Anglican Catholic Church in Central America.  Guatemala City is also the home town of the Bishop Ordinary, Rubén Rodríguez.  One sees the altar in this picture, taken at the time of the Eighth Diocesan Synod in 1996.  The sign above the altar welcomes the delegates. 

The man at the head of this diocese is Bishop  Rubén Rodríguez.  In this photograph he is teaching a confirmation class at one of the missions.  Until recently, he has had only one clergyman to assist him in ministering to the Parish of the Holy Spirit as well as to a number of missions in the mountains around Guatemala City.  New clergy are in training, and  a new building is being constructed for the Parish of St. Joseph in Sacoj Mixco.  As always, the raising of a new church is an on-and-off project, ever dependent on the availability of funds.  Such was the case in the construction of the Holy Spirit church, but the final result was a wonder to behold.  The photograph shows the new church when Bishop Rodriguez made his episcopal visit in December 1996.  The dark areas are shadows cast by neighboring trees. 

The accomplishments realized in Guatemala are amazing.  Life there is difficult and sometimes threatening.  The government tends to be hostile towards all religious groups other than Roman Catholics.  Even the Roman Catholic Church in Guatemala has been adamant in attacking our Diocese for our claim to being Catholic.  When the Guatemalan delegation waited in the air terminal in Guatemala prior to traveling to the General Synod in Orlando, there were people pointing at and shouting at Bishop Rodríguez and his companions, "You're not real Catholics!"  Praise be to God, however, that this unpleasantness is not universal.  In contrast, relations between Roman Catholics and Anglicans in Puerto Rico are very cordial. 

 
In this picture is the congregation of St. Joseph's with their priest and Bishop Rodríguez.  There were several confirmations that day, and the new class is in the front row. 

In the photo at the left is the congregation of the Parish of the Holy Spirit.  Some of these were in Orlando.
