The St. Elizabeth's parish family is active in the surrounding community, supporting local ecumenical activities, including a regional food pantry hosted by the United Methodist Church in nearby Sloatsburg.

Annual parish events include community suppers, a spring plant sale, a wreath and poinsettia sale in December, and occasional chamber music and other concerts. The musical events are presented without charge as gifts to the community, taking advantage of the tranquil setting and the chapel's excellent acoustics.

Children have always been a focus at St. Elizabeth's, and our Sunday School continues to be an important part of our ministry. An annual children's Christmas Party, Easter egg hunt, and summer picnic complement the Bible-based instruction and bring together young and old.

Bible study and discussion groups, retreats, and programs like the widely-acclaimed Alpha Course provide adults with opportunities for education and spiritual growth.
