The Anglican Church in
America ![]()
It is not possible in this short space to tell you all you might wish to know about the ACA. It is tempting to say, "Take a Bible, a copy of the Historic Book of Common Prayer, come worship with us, and you will begin to understand the Anglican Church in America." Ultimately, that is the best way to discover who we are. But for now, let us try to answer some questions you may be asking about our life and practice as Anglican Christians.
Our ways are ancient and our faith is unchanging. We stand on the Rock of Jesus Christ as he has been made known to us in the teaching of the Holy Apostles, the Holy Church and the Holy Bible. We stand on this rock in the midst of the turbulent sea of the ever-changing world around us, and we offer you this firm foundation in order that you may have that peace which the world cannot give; the peace of God, which passes man's understanding.
