A Message for Inquirers

The Anglican Church in America is part of the Traditional Anglican Communion, the world-wide association of churches which maintain and uphold the essentials of the Catholic faith in its Anglican expression. Our ways are ancient and our faith is unchanging. We stand on the Rock of Jesus Christ as He has been made known to us in the teaching of the Holy Apostles, the Holy Church and the Holy Bible. We stand on this Rock in the midst of the turbulent sea of the ever-changing world around us, a rock which is the sole source of that peace which the world cannot give; the peace of God, which passes man's understanding.

Many Anglican Christians, troubled by changes in the faith and teaching of their church in the present age, have either stopped going to church or have joined non-Anglican churches, only to find their spiritual hunger and longing for the Catholic sacraments and doctrines of the Book of Common Prayer unsatisfied. Ultimately, some of them have found their home in the Anglican Church in America. Whether you have lapsed for any length of time or are new to the Church, we invite you to worship with us. You will find us very friendly and willing to help with any questions you may have.
